KulturCafé Special: Sofia Andrukhovych reads Marlen Haushofer
In a special edition of the KulturCafé, Sofia Andrukhovych introduces us to the works of the Austrian writer Marlen Haushofer.
She is one of the leading figures in Austrian post-war literature.
Sofia Andrukhovych will read and discuss an excerpt from the novel "The Wall", for which Haushofer received the renowned Arthur Schnitzler Literature Prize. The novel has been reprinted many times and translated into several languages.
In 2020, the novel was published in Ukrainian (translated by Natalia Ivanychuk) and included in the list of the best books of 2020 by the Ukrainian PEN.
The reading will be held in Ukrainian on the Facebook-page of the ACF and on our YouTube-channel. The broadcast is free.
