KulturCafé with the Vienna Boys Choir
In the next edition of the KulturCafé we are visiting the world-famous Vienna Boys Choir.
ACF director Ulf Hausbrandt talks to the artistic director Gerald Wirth and two young singers about the history of the choir, the school and musical training of the singers, their everyday life, their concert tours and the effects of COVID. And of course the boys have also prepared musical greetings for you.
The language of this event is German with Ukrainian subtitles. The broadcast will be available on the Facebook-page as well as on the YouTube-channel of the ACF!
Vienna Boys Choir
The Vienna Boys Choir looks back at more than 500 years of history and tradition and is an institution of Viennese musical life.
Today, there are 100 choristers between the ages of nine and fourteen, divided into four touring choirs.
In normal times each choir is nine to eleven weeks of the academic year on tour. The Vienna Boys Choir performs regularly all over Europe, in Asia, Australia and the Americas.
