At the end of the 19th century, an art movement emerged in Europe that contrasted modernity with the entire art history. In different countries its manifestations in the visual arts have received different names: "L'Art Nouveau", "modern", "Tiffany", "Austrian Jugendstil".

In the next edition of the KulturKolleg, the art critic and writer Diana Klochko will speak about the creative association of Viennese artists who established a new style in architecture, painting, book publishing and home decor as a unifying trend of modernity.
