Who are the literary classics? What gives grounds to consider a writer a classic of literature?

Which works of the classics of Austrian literature have been translated into Ukrainian, and which have not been translated and why? We will try to find answers to these and other questions in the course of discussion on the basis of the report of the literary critic, Germanist, Candidate of Philology. n., docent Department of World Literature, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Ms. Diana Melnyk.
