Erich Wolfgang Korngold and Erich Zeisl were two Jewish Viennese composers who escaped the Nazi terror by emigrating to America.

Once there, both composers adapted their talents to the world of Hollywood, becoming defining voices in the golden age of Hollywood movie scores.

Johannes Fleischmann (violine), Magda Amara (pianist) and Günter Haumer (bariton) will perform works of both composers. After the concert an English-language panel discussion will take place with Korngold and Zeisl experts Karin Wagner, Gerold Gruber, Barbara Zeisl-Schoenberg and Randy Schoenberg.
