Book presentation and talk with the Ukrainian writer Olesya Yaremchuk, Buch Wien festival.

Olesya Yaremchuk made her name as a publicist and author early on. She strives to make the diversity and beauty of Ukraine known to a broad public in Europe. The young Ukrainian writer will present her latest book "Our Others: Stories of Ukrainian Diversity" and share her impressions of Russia's terrible war against Ukraine, the flight to Vienna and later to Germany.

Olesya Yaremchuk is a member of the Ukrainian PEN Club. In 2021, her book "Unsere Anderen: Stories of Ukrainian Diversity" in German translation. Yaremchuk was editor-in-chief of the publishing house "Choven" working with reportage and documentary literature. Today, she teaches at the UKU University of Lviv. She is a winner of the Samovydets Literary Reportage Award and the LitAccent of the Year Award, both in Ukraine, as well as a finalist for the ADAMI Media Prize and the Lviv – UNESCO City of Literature Award.
