An evening combining a film screening and a music concert at the Jam Factory Art Center.
👉 "A game of hide-and-seek with Mr. Lyatoshynskyi" is a short film created on the basis of a performance that took place in the Kyiv apartment of Borys Lyatoshynskyi at the end of 2023. The performance combines the composer's music with the practices of contemporary performative art, electronic music and contemporary dance.
After watching the film, the violin sonata and the cycle “Reflections” by Boris Lyatoshynskyi will be played for us: Eva Kulikovska (piano) and Boris Koblyk (violin).
Borys Lyatoshynskyi is a Ukrainian composer, an unsurpassed symphonist, the founder of modernism in Ukrainian music, a teacher of a new generation of Ukrainian composers who brought the avant-garde phenomenon of the 60s to Ukrainian art.
