Mozart’s son, Franz Xavier Mozart, performed the “Requiem” in Lviv in 1826 at the Greek Catholic Cathedral of St. George, which became a significant event for the musical life of the city on December 5, 1826, on the 35th anniversary of the death of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
On the eve of the 200th anniversary of this event, on its eve, the musicians of the Lviv Philharmonic will perform this immortal work in a historical place.
