Florian Reitner is an organist and composer from Austria. He is known for his organ improvisations, as well as film music and arrangements for the theater. As a pianist and organist, Reitner accompanies silent films at the METRO cinema in Vienna, and he is also a regular guest at international film festivals.
At a concert in the Lviv Organ Hall, Florian Reitner will perform his own improvisations to three films from the early 20th century – newsreels from Ukraine and Austria. One of them is about the indomitable city of Kharkiv.
This unforgettable concert in the magical atmosphere of organ music will allow you to experience the emotions of newsreels from the beginning of the last century in a new way.
