“Ukraine interactive” is the title of the winter college, which will take place for the first time at the University of Graz in 2024.
Interaction moves and connects Austria and Ukraine, research and practice, places and people.
The Graz Winter College is aimed at students, scientists and everyone who is interested in a multi-perspective discussion of current topics from Ukraine. Students receive 3 ECTS points for their participation. Join us and discover many facets of the Ukrainian language, culture and society!
What does the college offer?
- Learn in tandem: Ukrainian and German for Ukrainians are taught in a practice-oriented and interactive manner. From A1 in tandem lessons!
- Changing perspectives: A wide range of Ukrainian lectures from linguistics and cultural studies, literature, law, history and politics invite you to change your perspective across disciplines.
- Discover intercultural things: Task-based city and museum excursions explore Austrian-Ukrainian relations and promote networking with social actors.
- Discussing society: a panel on historical and current topics offers a variety of opportunities for conversation and discussion with Ukraine experts.
- Get creative: The acquired language and technical knowledge will be tested in workshops with Ukrainian and Austrian actors on book design, translation and cultural mediation.
