We invite you to visit a photo exhibition dedicated to the memory of the outstanding Austrian conductor Kurt Schmid, whose name is firmly inscribed in the history of Ukrainian musical culture.

The exhibition pays tribute to the Maestro, who for decades served as the chief conductor of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Luhansk Regional Philharmonic and became a symbol of artistic dedication and excellence.

The exhibition is connected to the concert “Viennese Spring” at Lviv Organ Hall, held in memory of the conductor and composer who passed away one year ago.

A central theme of the exhibition is the cultural dialogue between Ukraine and Austria, embodied by Kurt Schmid. He acted as a true ambassador of European musical traditions in Ukraine, while also introducing Ukrainian culture to the world — building bridges through the universal language of music.

Through the lens of photography, visitors will trace the artistic journey of a musician who valued professionalism and sincerity above all.
