Without leaving your room, you can explore one of the most spectacular Christmas markets - the Vienna Christmas Market - together with the founder of the Festival of Ukrainian Culture in Vienna, Oleksandra Saienko.
You can watch the walk on the Facebook-page of the ACF and on our YouTube-channel. The language of the event is Ukrainian.
The first Christmas markets were held in Vienna more than 7 centuries ago!
Today it is one of the most attractive events not only for residents but also for guests of the city.
The sales booths offer Christmas gifts, Christmas tree decorations, handicrafts, culinary treats, confectionery and warming drinks.
Christkindlmarkt
Christkindlmarkt is the biggest and most famous Viennese Christmas market, located in front of the Rathaus city hall.
A large Christmas tree dominates the centre with dozens of surrounding stalls offering the full spectrum of seasonal offerings.
You can also listen to international choirs singing carols with free entrance.
