This event offers exciting lectures, discussions, and interactive sessions.
On September 27 and 28, 2024, the XXXI Conference of the Ukrainian Association of Teachers of German and German Studies (UDGV) will take place at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
The conference will be officially opened with greetings from distinguished representatives, including Prof. Dr. Alla Paslavska, President of UDGV, and Dr. Arad Benkö, Austrian Ambassador to Ukraine. A highlight of the event will be the keynote lecture by Prof. Dr. Stefan Engelberg from the Institute for the German Language in Mannheim, addressing the creativity of the lexicon.
In addition to academic work in various sections, participants will enjoy a panel discussion featuring the writer Iris Hanika and the opening of an exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of Franz Kafka’s death. Competitions and awards presented by the Goethe-Institut Ukraine are also part of the program.
