Bridges of legal history: meeting in Vienna
On April 17, a meaningful and engaging meeting took place in Vienna, dedicated to strengthening the academic dialogue between Ukraine and Austria. The history of international law is yet another important dimension that connects both countries, opening up space for joint research and reflection on legal traditions.
We extend our sincere thanks to Ihor Zeman from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv for visiting Vienna and contributing to this valuable academic exchange. Together with Prof. Stefan Wendehorst from the University of Vienna, we had the opportunity to discuss past and future initiatives in legal history and legal education in a relaxed setting, as well as to outline new plans for student and faculty exchanges between the two universities.
Prof. Stefan Wendehorst is a leading European scholar in the fields of legal history and private law. His research focuses on the development of European legal systems, comparative law, and the interaction between law and society from a historical perspective. His work contributes significantly to understanding legal transformations in Europe and fosters international academic cooperation.
