Fellowship for Experienced Researchers in Vienna
The University of Vienna has opened applications for the prestigious ViCAS Senior Fellowship programme, designed for experienced scholars from around the world. Each year, up to 10 fellowships are awarded to internationally recognized researchers from diverse academic fields with a strong track record and an interest in interdisciplinary exchange.

Priority research areas:
– Humanities and Social Sciences
– Natural Sciences
– Life Sciences
– Interdisciplinary projects fostering intellectual dialogue
Programme benefits:
• Monthly stipend: €7 000
• Housing allowance: €1 500
• Child support (up to 18 years): €500 per child
• Individual office space in the centre of Vienna
Eligibility criteria:
• Professors or equivalent-level researchers
• Significant academic experience and publications
• Interdisciplinary research proposal aligned with ViCAS goals
