Film Screening: “Great Galician Women – From Lviv to Vienna”
On November 19, the Viennese premiere of the film “Great Galician Women – From Lviv to Vienna” took place in Ukrainian!
This documentary by Polish-Austrian director Piotr Shalsha tells the stories of remarkable women born in Galicia at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, who later connected their lives with Vienna. They excelled in various fields — from art and literature to medicine.
The film was produced in the context of the Austria–Ukraine Year of Culture 2019.
