“Iron People” in Vienna
From February 23 to March 22, 2026, the exhibition “Iron People,” dedicated to the resilience of Ukrainian railway workers, will be on display at Vienna Central Station.
Dutch photographer Jelle Krings’ work depicts the daily lives of railway employees and their families during the Russian aggression against Ukraine. The exhibition tells a story of responsibility, steadfastness, and human strength under extreme conditions.
The exhibition is organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Austria, Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, and the State of Lower Austria.
