Ukrainian journalist, author and documentary filmmaker Olga Volynska seeks answers in conversations with artists from literature, music, theater, film, fine arts and photography. The book creates a sensitive mosaic of portraits, where art appears as an existential necessity, spiritual resistance and a source of inner strength.
About the author
Olga Volynska is a journalist, author, documentary filmmaker and human rights activist from the city of Dnipro (Ukraine). For over fifteen years she has been covering topics of corruption, human rights violations and social injustice at the international level. Her documentary film 482 was awarded at the PLURAL+ International Film Festival in New York. The author’s latest book in German is Wie der Krieg uns verändert (Graz, 2023).
