Ostkurs 2026: Summer academy for journalists

For young German-speaking journalists from Central and Eastern Europe, the Institute for Journalism Education (ifp) once again offers a three-week summer academy in Munich from July 5 to 24, 2026.

The program of the „Ostkurs 2026“ includes classic journalistic styles such as news reports, interviews, feature stories, but also online research (fact-checking) and mobile reporting.

The third week of the seminar will be dedicated to practical interview training in our TV studio.

The closing date for applications is February 15, 2026.
