Presentation of “Looking at Women, Looking at War”
On December 5, the book "Looking at Women, Looking at War – A War and Justice Diary" was presented at the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM).
The work was conceived by the Ukrainian writer and war crimes investigator Viktoria Amelina, who tragically died in a Russian missile attack. The book carries her voice—and the voices of women who, despite the war, insist on truth and justice.
Thanks to the significant work of Sasha Dovzhyk, the participation of Yuri Durkot, a powerful video message from Viktoria, and the moderation by Sebastian Schäffer, we can continue to keep these voices alive. A moving moment that underscores her work and our shared responsibility.
The recording of the discussion is available here.
