Video art program “Bodies in Resonance”
The video art program “Bodies in Resonance” is taking place in Lviv to 21 November 2025 across multiple locations including the Lviv Municipal Art Centre, and the Lviv Art Library.
The series brought together video installations and works by Yana Bachynska, Anna Mutschlechter-Dean, Sergii Petlyuk, Diana Derii, Transcultural Emancipation, and Erwin Wurm, forming a constellation of artistic perspectives on embodiment, fragility, memory, resilience, and ecological and political transformation.
Presented in public cultural spaces, these videos became embedded in their environments, unfolding over time and inviting audiences to engage with the body as a site of memory and vulnerability.
The Videocity x Lviv program expanded the dialogue around how art can address lived experience — from personal embodiment to collective ecological and political change — offering a space to stay attentive to how transformation resonates in bodies, environments, and shared imagination.
