Monoraph
Monograph. Based on a comprehensive analysis of sources and literature, this monograph traces the situation of the Moskophile movement in the Austrian-controlled regions of Galicia and Bukovina before and during the Great War (1914–1918). It reveals the scale and character of the Moskophiles’ activity within the Russian occupation administrations in the region during 1914–1917, the nature of relations between the Austrian authorities and Moskophile followers, the mass repressions against them, and their internment in concentration camps such as Thalerhof. The study also explores the paths of Moskophile refugees and the specific activities of the Rostov Moskophile center.
