Me and Kaminski (in Ukrainian)
A young art historian, eager to become famous, decides to write the biography of a once well-known but now somewhat forgotten blind painter.
Conflicting relations arise between the audacious and arrogant author and his subject, serving as the backdrop for a biting critique of the soullessness of modern media and the reckless pursuit of deceptive fame. This is a deeply ironic novel about truth and lies, manipulation and manipulativeness, morality and art, in which events take astonishing and unexpected turns. In confrontation with a mature and balanced artist, the protagonist, gazing into the distant sea, ultimately realizes how pitiful his previous life had been.
