Exhibition opening and icon painting workshop
The exhibition deals with the art of painting Ukrainian icons, which have been a central element of Christian iconography for centuries. On view are contemporary icons by well-known Ukrainian artists from iconography school "Raduzh" that give a new face to traditional icon painting.
The exhibition will last until the end of March 2023!

Opening of the exhibition and lecture on Ukrainian icons
Lecturer: Prof. Taras Tymo (theologian at the Ukrainian Catholic University and an expert on Ukrainian icons).
3 December 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
Start of the icon painting workshop (duration approx. 4 hours, costs: €50 for materials), each participant can then take the self-designed icon home with them.
The workshop will be led by Solomiya Tymo (director of the iconography school "Radruzh") and Olha Khmilevska (icon painter).
