We asked Alois Woldan for a talk at our first KulturCafe in 2021 Alois Woldan is a professor emeritus at the University of Vienna, a Slavist, translator, literary critic, honorary doctorate from the Pedagogical University of Drohobych and a loyal friend of Ukraine. We will talk to him about the long-term cooperation between the University of Vienna and the National Ivan Franko University of Lviv, the Ukrainian-Austrian summer colleges in Lviv and Kyiv, as well as numerous literary translation projects and publications.
